Ortakent....

 

This year we went back again to the Neilson seaside hotel at Ortakent for our family holiday.  We had another great holiday there so a big thank you to all the staff for making it a great holiday.

 

As for the windsurfing well it was pretty much big kit for me the whole time, although I was planing nearly everyday even if it was on 7 & 8 m sails, and it was a case of sailing right out in windy corner.

We did get a windy afternoon with some video training, I must admit to being pretty disappointed with the video below, I hadn't realised what a big difference the late step I tend to do on smaller kit makes with big kit in marginal winds, after seeing the video I think I improved, but it's a good example of how you get in a style from sailing smaller kit that doesn't always transfer to bigger boards.

 

 

 

At least having seen this I know I can take remedial action when sailing big kit
