Slalom Kit....

Not quite as much wind as I was hoping for today.  Got to Longrock and found Rupert out on his 6.4 and Dale out on his 5.8, looked pretty light and very gusty so watched for a while before deciding what to rig.

Decided it was too light to go with my 5.8 so rigged my 7.5 and slalom board.  I've not spent a great deal of time on this setup so it took a few runs in and out to change the setup before it felt comfortable, which it finally did to enable me a couple of reasonable runs powered up before the wind started to die off again.  It was very gusty and I found it hard to get the board going on the way out over the chop, but once I was going and locked in it was surprisingly comfortable over the confused sea state.  Probably should have been on my 8.5 though.
