Windsurfing 7th March 2010
Cold, Cold, Cold....
Really cold wind today, but with glorious sunshine and not much wind around this year it was too much to pass a sail today.
Time was limited so it had to be a morning high tide sail so headed off to the beach. With easterly winds I first looked at Praa Sands but the wind was very light on the inside with the high tide and it was pretty flat, so drop round to Marazion to see who else was about.
Once I got to the station house I bumped into Martin and the decision was made, it looked windier and a better angle at longrock so we would sail there.
Rigged my 5.8 and FSW, with Martin rigging a 5.5 and Rupert 5.4, most people seemed happy to stay in their vans but Sam and Phil were happy to come sailing as well.
I managed about 15 minutes before heading back to the van looking for gloves, couldn't find any and my hands had come back to life so went back out and the hands stayed ok after that (although they were a little numb/cold still at 9pm)
In the end it was a pretty good sail despite the cold.

And a few photo's I took as well:
